My Workshop session with Richard Sweeney

I used the following materials to make my paper sculpture: 1 A5 piece of white paper, a metal ruler, a scalpel and a cutting mat.

This was my first attempt on making a paper sculpture. When photographing this piece of work, i found the lighting made the sculpture more interesting, because of the reflection.

This was the second paper sculpture i made. Using the same size paper, i experimented with different shapes.

I particularly focused on the curves with this sculpture as well as the lighting when photographing it. Because i wanted to have a good contrast of shadow.

After cutting the piece of paper in different lines, I combined the corners to create an unusual shaped sculpture.

I then expanded on my last design and created 3 similar sculptures.

My final designs from my workshop.
